Turmeric milk or golden milk is the most preferred choice since an era, the term is given due to the golden color it imparts whenever mixed with milk and gives some major beneficial effect. when it comes to immunity booster, turmeric milk has various nutritious value added in it, could be anti-septic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, fighting against infections, or more. In day-to-day life, it has become natural source of energy for every age groups.
The preparation time is minimal and hence method requires no extra cooking skills, just a daily dose of this recipe could do wonders to your health, fighting against diseases like cold and cough, joint pain, flu etc.
Ingredients include– 2 cups of milk, 3/4th tsp of turmeric, ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp cinnamon, 1-inch ginger (grated), cinnamon ½ inch
Method to prepare–
• Take a pan, pour 2 cups milk in it,
• add ¾ tsp Turmeric, ½ tsp crushed pepper, ½ inch cinnamon stick, 1-inch grated ginger, 1 tsp coconut oil
• whisk and mix in low flame till it comes to a boil.
• Let it cool slightly till flavors get absorbed and golden color is visible.
• add 1 tsp honey at the end, which is an optional step, mix well.
• filter the mixture in 2 cups.
• ready to serve.
