Water shows a tremendously great variety in showing its properties towards nature, and for every living creature. It’s the origin of demonstrating a sign of good or bad effect in the body. One of the most known facts about the body is, it contains 60-70% water and hence needs water for metabolic process and ongoing activities.
For a healthy living, it’s advised to drink an average amount of 6-7 glasses/day. The body itself starts demanding fluid intake when the temperature change. During summer when the individual urges to drink more water which changes in rainy and winter. However, be it any season or weather, a reasonable amount of water is required for the smooth functioning of the body.

The decrease in water consumption could show initial symptoms like dehydration, headache, dizziness, constipation which can show prolong damage after a chronic time showing the adverse effects on kidneys, skin, hair covering the whole body as well. Although the requirement of water varies according to age, type, body’s condition, etc.
E.g., A baby needs less amount of water whereas a pregnant woman requires more amount of water than the normal woman of the same age, kidney patients can have a designed amount of water which is in ml, depending upon the disease severity.
However, certain fruits have enough water present and can be used to maintain the body’s fluid level like watermelons and melons containing more than 90% of water, but these are the seasonal fruits which are especially found in summers one can fill their requirements with fruits like oranges, peaches, apricots, blueberry, raspberry containing approximately 80% of water.
There are several reasons which are necessary for the proper functioning of the body, like-
– Water’s role in controlling calories-
Thinking of losing weight but the struggle is real as it’s the whole long process,
Water has no magical ingredients but then its properties aids in solving the weight loss regime, only if you drink-in the required amount in the required time and use it while replacing the carbonated drinks.
– In energizing muscles-
When cells don’t maintain the fluid level, they tend to shrink which results in fatigue. Muscle fatigues gives muscle soreness in the body. For prevention, it is advised to drink water at regular intervals.
– Makes skin appearance clear-
The skin has plenty of water content inside the layer and has a protective surface for excess fluid loss and replenishment. For maintaining the moisture in the skin, it is advised to drink adequate water and adopting a face cleansing regime as well.
– Helps in the formation of mucus and saliva-
1st food digestion starts from the oral cavity, which contains the natural lubricant in the form of saliva, which helps in chewing the food into bolus form and aids in the absorption process. It also reduces the fiction, cleans the mouth and protects the tooth decay.
– Transfer oxygen throughout the body-
Blood is more than 90 % water in the body, and it carries oxygen to the different parts throughout the body.
– Regulates body temperature-
The water, which is present beneath the skin, tends to evaporate when there is a more vigorous exercise in the form of sweat.
– Maintains digestive system-
The digestive system tends to cover the major important role in the body, aids in the formation of various digestive juices, when not in an adequate amount in the body, could show dehydrated effects leading to hard stool or constipation.
– Removal of waste products-
Water also helps in the excretion of waste products and toxicity smoothly.
